Millies Cookies Recipe - Chocolate Chip

This recipe is THE BEST and is from the Millies Cookbook out in the US. You have seriously got to try it. It makes about 40 cookies, so share out and enjoy!!!

Ingredients:
275g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
200g brown sugar
110g granulated sugar
250g butter
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vailla extract
chocolate chips - start with about 2 packs (200g) or however many you want

How to:
1. Preheat oven to 150 cenitgrade.
2. Sieve the flour, badking powder and salt together. Set aside.
3. Make sure butter ahs gone softer, then use an electric mixer to bland butter and both sugars together. This ahould make a grainy paste.
4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the suagar and butter. Mix together until blended.
5.Add flour mixture and chocolate chips with a wooden spoon. Do not overmix it.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto an ungreased cookie sheet about 5cm apart.
7. Bake from 15 to 22mins or until golden. Do it for less time if you want them to be chewey rather than crispy.
8. When baked transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Enjoy these very much and eat!!

  4. I second that! It is THE perfect cookie recipe out there, wonderfully moist and slightly crunchy around the edges. DELICIOUS. I used soft dark brown sugar and used my palm to gently flatten them halfway through baking. Was very very similar to the last millies cookies I ate =). I put white choc chunks and raspberry peices in half of the mixture and that worked out beautifully too. I've tried the toll house recipe, bbc recipes, top recipes on "allrecipes" but this beats them all. Definately a winner =)
Thankyou very much for the recipe!!!
