Shortbread
This shortbread is so good and one of the best i have ever tasted. I thought i would start off blogging something nice and easy to make. Anyway, if you don't want ot be dissapointed, use this. I think it's from Jamie Oliver, he's good for this recipe!!
Ingredients:
250g of unsalted butter
125g of caster sugar plus soem extra for sprlinking
250g of plain flour
125g of cornflour
How to:
1. Mix the caster sugar, flour and cornflour together.
2. Add the butter in bits so it is easier to form into a dough.
3. Get a 22cm square tin and press the dough into it so the tin is covered. It doesn't matter if it has cracked, it will all come together.
4. Prick it all over with a fork. This stops it rising in the middle.
5. Bake for 50 mins in 150 centigrade oven. If you want it a bit more crumbly do it for 40 mins.
6. When you take it out, sprinkle caster sugar over it while it is still warm.
7. Cut up and enjoy!!
Hope you like it!!
